Over 270 people filled the room to raise money for our two recipients; Heart Kids WA and Nakuru Hope. The generosity of the room was once again on display with an astonishing $65,000 raised in just 4-hours.
As a surprise for the room, we introduced recently retired Eagle, Josh Kennedy who answered some questions put to him by Perth’s premier race caller, Darren McAullay who again hosted the day and finished the day with his now famous phantom race call.
We were entertained by our guest speaker Kevin Sheedy AO who told some great stories about his time at Essendon FC.
We are enormously grateful and extremely proud to have raised this amount and the result simply would not have happened without the generosity of our loyal supporters!
Thank you and we couldn’t do it without you!
HEART KIDS WATAG have been aligned with Heart Kids WA after witnessing first hand the unwavering support they provided a family that TAG had worked closely with for many years. Heart Kids aim to help children with Congenital Heart Disease - and their families - to lead the most fulfilling life possible and to reach their personal goals.
NAKURU HOPE KENYATAG have been aligned with the tremendous and unrelenting work that local Perth lady, Susan Saleeba has been doing for endangered and at risk kids in Nakuru Kenya. Her vision to protect, educate and house began in 2008. This lunch has provided a stable source of funding for over 5-years and we look forward to making a small contribution to the amazing work Susan does in Africa.
